Questions, answered.

Is Pocketrack really free?

Yes. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. Every feature, including widgets, receipt scanning and app lock, is included.

Where is my data stored?

Only on your iPhone, in the app's local database. Pocketrack makes no network requests with your data and has no server to receive it. The App Store label says "Data Not Collected" because that's exactly what happens.

Does it sync between devices?

No. Keeping everything on one device is the whole point. Your expenses are included in your iPhone's regular iCloud or computer backup, so they come with you when you restore or move to a new phone.

Does it connect to my bank?

No, and it never will. You log expenses yourself, by typing or scanning a receipt. Many people find that the few seconds of logging is what actually makes them notice their spending.

Which currencies and languages are supported?

Currencies: Euro, US Dollar, British Pound, Bosnian Convertible Mark, Serbian Dinar and Colombian Peso. Languages: English, Bosnian, Serbian and Spanish.

What do I need to run it?

An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. Receipt reading works on every supported iPhone, and uses Apple Intelligence on devices that have it.
